Dr. Favret, a native of the Washington D.C. Area, is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Catholic University.  She received her medical degree from Temple University is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She completed her Internship and Residency at Georgetown University and her Fellowship training at Stanford University.

Dr. Favret is Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.  She is an associate member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Favret has a special interest in treating breast cancer.  While at Stanford University during her Fellowship, she developed an interest in clinical research for Breast Cancer and has published several review articles, original research papers and a book chapter in the area of breast cancer management.
