A graduate of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Moorer received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland and his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, New York.

Dr. Moorer is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology and is certified as a Diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the National Medical Association.

Dr. Moorer’s research interests lie in exploring novel chemotherapy regimens for the treatment of advanced Pancreatic Cancer.
